Welcome to Hooked on Golf’s Italian section. With just over 100 courses to choose in this historic country it has been difficult to choose what courses and hotels to bring to you in our golfing holidays in Italy. We have selected to work with a lot of family owned accommodations in some of the less well known areas of Italy as well as the Islands of Sardinia and Sicily. From the Italian Lakes through Tuscany to Lazio we aim to bring you a trip for you to remember for all the right reasons. Being picked up from your hotel and transported to the course and then picked up once you have finished your round, or finished at the 19th and taken back to your hotel to rest your weary legs.
Why not earn some brownie points and suggest one of our “His and Her Weekends”, you get to indulge yourself on the greens and your partner gets to relax in the spa and think how wonderful you are. Why not bring your friends along and stay and play for a week or two. Our aim is to provide the best golfing breaks but still allow you to “play it your way”.
Veneto
The region of Veneto awaits your arrival! In Hooked on Golf’s Veneto section we have again tried to shine a light on those hidden gems left untouched by international golfers, as well as some classic courses to address the balance. The country does have excellent - if not world-renowned - golf, with courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Robert Trent Jones, Pete Dye and Robert von Hagge, to name a few. Northern Italians speak of their fellow countrymen to the south in sympathetic, but slightly condescending terms: they are poor and we don't mind helping them out, but come on, enough is enough, “sharing our course’s Never!”

Sardinia
Sardinia has some of the finest, most beautiful golf courses of the Mediterranean. Golf is actually becoming a growing activity available in the different areas of the island. Sardinia golf courses offer a delight mix of links and park courses. They range from 18 holes championship to more relaxed easygoing 9 hole courses. This sport can be played in Sardinia all year around even in January and February thanks to the lovely and mild climate of this splendid island.
